Old drunk men who bet out against a set can go lick a culture of proteus mirabilis.

Don't know what that is? GOOGLE IT.

Excerpts from my dream last night. Friday, March 27, 2009

I was in this house with lethal, conscious army ants that ate people alive but they didn't kill me because their master didn't want me dead yet. I played hangman with them and the master turned out to be Cedric the Entertainer and the ants were the hangmen. I remembered one of the words was MAD MAN and I think they were referring to Cedric and I left the house and saw him and told him that I just left this fucked up house with army ants and he replied, "...That was my house." Before I could respond he creepily came up to me and said,“...RUN.” So I started running as Cedric then called the army of ants which somehow gained the ability to fly. Crazy ass was going to unleash them on the world and then the government dropped a bomb filled with prescription Ambien which totally tripped me out because Ambien is for the treatment of insomnia.

WEIRD.

THE SCAVENGER HUNT 2008 Sunday, August 17, 2008

SCAVENGER HUNT FAQ

1. What is a Scavenger Hunt?

Traditionally, a scavenger hunt is comprised of multiple teams competing against one another in gathering the most number of items, devised from a list. I have made some alterations to the rules in making this more of a social activity rather than a competition.

2. Why a Scavenger Hunt?

I believe a scavenger hunt is something different that we can share amongst friends and family. It is cheap, exciting, and most of all fun.

3. Who can be involved?

Anyone who wants to be. I don't know if there will be a lot of people, but I'm hoping at least 3 teams of 4-5 persons. I can accommodate for more, but just be sure to have one driver per group

4. When will this be?

Saturday, August 23, 2008. My 25th Birthday from 12:00 (noon) until approximately 5:00pm (meet back at my house by 5:00pm). Meet at my house by 11:30am to gather your instructions and meet with your team

5. Where will it be located?

We will start and end at my house. Otherwise, the event will take place all over the city of Riverside.

6. How do I join?
Contact myself, or my brothers, or anyone else who is going if you want to participate. It's open to all my friends and family, so as long as we all have fun together, it's all good.

RULES AND OBJECTIVES

This scavenger hunt will differ in that you will be given a list of fifteen (15) clues. You will have to solve each clue, drive there, and finally take a picture (as a group) at the specific location. You will get extra points for more creative poses. Before coming back home, you will have to have a minimum of 15 photos (one at each location), and have them developed before returning to my house.

I will provide one (1) disposable camera for each team to use. If you would like to use your own digital camera, please feel free to do so (at your own risk.) I will also provide a budget of $10.00 for you guys to develop the photos at the closest one hour photo location of your choice. When you complete all the tasks, you must return to my house with the pictures already developed. You will be making a scrapbook for me using the photos you take. This is also why I want you to be creative. I want to look back and remember all the stories you guys have doing the hunt.

I myself will not be participating with any specific team. Since I am writing the event, it would be unfair of me to stay with any one specific team. Don't worry. I'll have pictures of me in the scrapbook by the end of the night. I will be driving to certain locations to see if you are doing well. I will also have my cell phone available in case you have trouble with any of the clues. I will not make them incredibly difficult since I do want this to be an enjoyable experience. It is my goal that you share the fun with those around you. Which is why if you feel like inviting your friends, feel free to do so. Just clear it with me because I don't want any craziness happening at my house.

Please be safe when driving to each location. This is meant to be a fun activity, not a race. You do not get any extra points by completing any one task first or sooner than another group.

Please ask me if you have any questions or concerns regarding the hunt. You can RSVP by emailing me at ggustilo@gmail.com, AIM: IareGerard, Myspace.com/iaregerard or Facebook (search my name). Please RSVP by Friday, August 22 so I can have a rough idea on how many people to expect, and so I know how many teams/cameras I will have.
